Glass Demo – How to make a Glass Tank for eCigs by GardunoGlass

I was asked to make a video to show how I blow glass and how I actually make these tanks for the eCigs or electronic cigarettes. This demo shows a clear glass tank being made out of 1″ borosilicate glass tubing. Blenko Glass Factory – Milton, WV

08.13.09 – Near Huntington, WV, this is the best glass factory we have seen to date! They have it set up so that the viewer can see the entire process of making an item from start to the point where the item is taken away for the cooling ovens. You go in through the Blenko Visitor’s Center. There’s a gift shop on main floor; seating and a lot of stained glass upstairs; then through the doorway and walkway to the factory. Founder was William J Blenko who came to America from London in the early 1890’s for one purpose, to produce hand blown glass for stained glass windows. A few pics first and then the video. As you can see from the pics upstairs, it was a very dark, overcast day that morning when we were there. It brightened up later.
